The aim of this school project was to create a fake rebrand for Iceland Airwaves. The brief outlined that the festival would take a step back and return to its original format, reviving the off-venue aspect of the event. Inspiration for the design was drawn from the aesthetic of disconnected television signals, encapsulating the idea of "unplugging at Airwaves." Screen printing was chosen as the medium to best showcase the concept within the visual identity. The poster series consists of four screen-printed posters, with each poster divided into three layers, each representing a single day of the festival. When the posters are assembled, they create a cohesive whole for the entire event.
